Accessibility statement.
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to create and manage a Minecraft server on LowLight, whatever technology they use to browse. Accessibility isn't a bolt-on for us — it's checked as part of how the site is built, on every page.
What we've done
Across the whole site we provide:
- Text contrast meeting AA ratios on our dark theme
- Full keyboard operability, with visible focus indicators and skip-to-content links
- Respect for your reduced-motion preference — animations switch off if your device asks
- Names and labels on every form control and button, so screen readers can announce them
- Correct heading structure and landmark regions
- Status messages (like \u201csaved\u201d confirmations) announced to assistive technology
- Dialogs that keep keyboard focus where it belongs
Every page is audited against these checks before release, and the audit passes on all of them.
Known limitations
Some content is rendered dynamically (for example, live server lists), and although it's built with the same rules, real-world screen-reader behaviour can vary — we test this continuously as features go live. Some optional features may involve third-party content (such as rewarded video adverts) whose internals we don't control; where that's the case the surrounding controls and alternatives remain fully accessible.
Tell us if something doesn't work
If any part of LowLight is difficult or impossible for you to use, we genuinely want to know. Email accessibility@lowlight.host with the page and what happened (and the assistive technology you use, if relevant). We aim to respond within 7 days and to fix verified problems quickly.
The legal bit
LowLight is operated from the United Kingdom. The Equality Act 2010 requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments for disabled users; we treat WCAG 2.2 AA as our working benchmark for meeting that duty. This statement is reviewed when the site changes materially.
